1-BIT GAMBIT
Support
Chess for Apple Vision Pro, in crisp 1-bit black and white, where every capture is a stop-motion duel.
Getting started
- Put the board on a table. Grab the bar under the board and set it down on a real table; it snaps to flat surfaces.
- Pick up a piece. The piece your eyes or hand are on glows yellow. Pinch it to lift it into your hand. Its moves are marked with dots, or brackets for captures.
- Put it down. Carry it over a dot and open your fingers. Drop it on an enemy piece and they fight it out. Let go anywhere else and it goes back home.
- The panel above the far edge of the board has New Game, the CPU's strength, the Look (Iron & Stone or Robots), Colors (red vs blue, with the Robots), Undo and Sound.
Questions
- I can't see the board.
- Press and hold the Digital Crown to bring your windows back in front of you.
- What does the Full Game include?
- The Robots, a transforming army you can play in red vs blue or black and white, and the Wizard, the strongest CPU. It's a one-time purchase, shared with Family Sharing.
- I bought the Full Game but it's locked.
- Tap anything with a padlock, then Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.
- How do I play a friend?
- Pass the headset: choose New Game › Two players and take turns. Playing a friend on their own Vision Pro over SharePlay is coming in an update.
- Can I turn off the red and blue?
- Yes. With the Robots on show, tap Colors on the panel.
